You are Exhibit A for why that sentence was necessary.
When unfounded internet rumors about Israel surface they are often taken up by the likes of your cohort, here. I can think of 3 off the top of my head
-that Hamas didn't rape women in their attack (disproven by neutral observers but still maintained by some)
- that Trump attacked Iran at the behest of Israel (no proof whatsoever and other possibilities ignored)
- that AIPAC controls the American legislative process (which is just weird, it's clearly less influential than the pharmaceutical, military, real estate, gun, agricultural, education, Christian Nationalist lobbies are - how many Israeli -American / Jews are prominent in the Trump government and why does Trump insist he won't allow the annexation of the WB?)
And, now, there are rumors gaining momentum that Israel actually killed Epstein and Kirk. It's only a matter of time until this is taken up here, especially by the mod, who has a seriously deranged one sided view of events in the Middle East.
So, do I think Israel will actually be blamed for this renewed war on women? Not necessarily, but we are clearly in the realm of the surreal. I wouldn't be surprised if there currently are a great number of posters on 4Chan, Telegram, Discord, wherever, who believe it and then it works its way into some sort of mainstream opinion. Then, gleefully, here.
