Surely you must have copied and pasted a "Copy image link" for any image before. Guess it's the image url, but my right click calls it "Copy image link." Right click on an image and there it is.
Except some now say 'open image link in a new tab' (for the Guardian images you have to do that) then you right click on that to get "Copy image link."
Then paste in in your post and use that little square image icon the same way as you would bold or italicize a block of words.
Your window way guess might be simpler once it's familiar, except you have to open the extra window.
I should be able to use multiple windows before now, just never bothered as my way is easy too.
