Well, like I said, I've been in there a couple times and I was ok with the chicken fried steak and country gravy. Supposedly the meatloaf is really good too but I never got that far.
When you're out of town, you take what they give.
The country store part of it is/was a good angle. I'm a sucker for cheap nostalgic crap. Never bought anything but it was fun to shop around and kill some time.
Having spent 50 years in the south -- 1966 to 2016 -- CLT/CHS/SAV -- visited several Craker Barrels -- but now celebrated 9 years of marriage to my 93yo sweetheart at a wonderful steak housed in San Franciso last evening -- LIG -- too bad you are not enjoying it
