Noooo. Only if you don't care about shine and finish and collectors value. Soft scrub still is a very fine abrasive and will put a super fine scratches on polished surfaces. A liquid silver cleaner like tarnex is much safer and a soft cloth must be used.

Don't use anything but dish washing liquid soap in the kitchen, steel wool in the bathtub.

Will do, long before time i learned again to post a photo here.
