VKTX Venture Ph2 - Could it be possible that clinical trial participants formed some sort of experience sharing group on social media? I find the PBO AEs fascinating.
It’s pretty amazing that 85 percent of subjects receiving placebo experience adverse events, 48 percent nausea, etc. As Brian suggested, since the GI effects of the class are well known, patients on placebo may convince themselves they are experiencing the symptoms, but still, 85 percent is impressive!
