The only thing on automatic is the expiration of the warrants in 2028. There is no automatic exit from conservatorship and the conservatorship is what keeps us chained to the wall. All I can see with the present administration is it is trying to figure ways to extract more money for the government. I thought Trump would right most of the wrongs done here but now think not so much. There is some difference between the political parties, as regards Fannie and Freddie, but it is not the Grand Canyon in extent; more like a pothole.
