A Sputnik moment will happen coming out of China - and then it will be all hands on deck. Just a matter of time as you said. USA vs China - IONQ will be the tip of the spear. How people can not see this is beyond my comprehension. People still out there saying Quantum is a myth and will never work even with evidence it does in fact operate at levels never achieved before. You can lead a horse to water - but you can't make him drink.
