Terrified of their constituents. How so?
I don't know WHY they are, but they do seem to be. At least some Republicans used to be stern but kindly father figures. They didn't take any guff from voters. Voters needed to toe the line. No longer. Now the pols are more like Eric Cartman from South Park. Bullies afraid of being exposed.
Schumer IS odd. Most of them are, at least if they've in Congress for more than ten years. I've never known any politicians personally, so I really have no idea what they're like.
However, it would be nice to see some LEADERSHIP.
