That is very strange. It's also strange that the problems aren't consistent, but seem to appear and disappear at different times for different reasons. So why didn't they do anything about it till now, since it's apparently been happening since 2023?

But I've been thinking. What's happened with Perplexity recently? Why, it was made the official AI bot for Trumpty's Truth Social!! And it's behaving well enough, apparently, telling users the 2020 election wasn't fraudulent, and was in no way "rigged".
I wonder, though, if that has caused Perplexity's engineers some... perplexity.
