I think we can trust him not to do that. He's said he won't until the war is over. Not sure how he'd feel about a ceasefire, but it looks as if that isn't gonna happen, so it doesn't matter.
For what it's worth, CNN announced that Melania sent a letter to Putin with Trumpty. She asked him to consider the poor Ukrainian children who're being killed, injured, or otherwise made miserable.
