Putin could have easily been arrested here in the US under war crimes, or he could have easily been poisoned either by the US if he went for that scheduled lunch, Putin goes around poisons journalist all around the World and kills people that are against him, so my guess is, he knows he is wanted dead man, surely he would try to avoid being a target, if he knows how to kill people by poisoning them, then he knows the table can be turned on him too.
