I think you should put it in the front seat. And here's a very good growing guide:

Complete Guide to Meyer Lemon Tree Care: How to Grow Meyer Lemon Tree Indoors Successfully

https://www.groworganic.com/blogs/articles/growing-meyer-lemons-in-containers?srsltid=AfmBOopTFMy1cnz5vtC_cjSIqZ5Z1aDWMujrk6PLC9V87zQsEGXxJOGy

And I think this is important; might make all the difference:

Meyer lemon trees need 8–12 hours of bright light each day to grow properly and produce fruit.
Place your tree near a south- or southwest-facing window to maximize natural sunlight.
If sunlight is insufficient, supplement with a full-spectrum grow light to simulate daylight. This is especially helpful during shorter winter months.

I had a Meyer Lemon once, and I put it in front of a big full-length window. But though that seemed adequate to me, it was not enough to keep the plant happy.

It started to grow two tiny lemons and then died.

Back, on floor, of course, it will be. A tiny prune wouldn't hurt. Carefully with branches to get pet crate in.

Guess you have to have the crate for Skidz, pooping and stuff. How long is your drive, 18h? .. in two bits... or three...
