I have also seen the "I logged out" but really am still "Logged In" issue I believe several people here are trying to described.
I can usually re-create it almost every time via using a VPN and using a Mexico based portal. Something about Mexico and certain countries will make it happen pretty much every time for me. I stumbled on it months ago - I logged out, 100% via going to the log-out on my profile picture. Refreshed the page - and I was still logged in.
I'm strictly referring to a desktop/laptop running Chrome browser and for a near 100% near certain "re-create the event" using a VPN and logging in as "Mexico" which is often convenient for me:
1) Open two tabs in Chrome and put one on one IHUB stock msg board and the other on a random other ticker's msg board after logging in
2) Then log-out in tab one. USUALLY you get logged out - clean and simple. You can then even refresh the open tab two on whatever msg board it's on - and when it refreshes you are logged-out there also, almost always.
BUT, when this "issue" occurs I've seen two scenarios now:
a) You log out, it looks like you logged out in terms of the screen changes to what is normally the screen that says "you have been logged out" BUT now you get this :
You are still logged in...
Please confirm that you wish to logout from InvestorsHub.
Below it is an active "Button" saying "Logout from InvestorsHub" and you have to click it, meaning now its two steps to log-out, then you get logged out.
b) You logout in tab one and it indeed looks logged-out and no two-step as described in "a" above, BUT if you refresh the 2nd open Chrome tab on some other IHUB board, a few times you really were not logged out
That's the way I've seen it - ONLY seems to happen when on a VPN in certain countries, Mexico being nearly 100% for certain to give me that 2-step 2nd msg "You are not logged out", when normally I can simply hit "log out" ONE TIME and you are logged out 100% for certain.
That's the best way I can explain it - I noticed it months ago. I've been logging out and then doing a tab refresh to 100% be certain I'm indeed really logged out, on all tabs open to different msg boards, if I have more than one tab open which I often do. I might have 3 or 4 msg board open at a time in Chrome browser tabs.
Most times (like 90% of the time probably) one log-out and indeed I'm logged out, and logged-out on all tabs if I hit "refresh" on them, they default to being logged out, IF I logged out of any given one of them. A few times - no. Be on the Mexico located VPN - I can re-create it probably every single time as I just now tested it and indeed I got the 2nd msg "YOU ARE STILL LOGGED IN......" and the prompt to click the log-out button below it a 2nd time and then it logs you out.
That msg literally has the dots after it ......like this..... "YOU ARE STILL LOGGED IN......" and then ....Black txt and right below it "PLEASE CONFIRM YOU WANT TO LOG OUT" and blue button to click below labeled "LOG OUT FROM INVESTORHUB"
That might help you re-create it - it might be geo-region then IMO ?? Depending on where your system "thinks" a person is logging in/out from perhaps ??
