It could take an antibiotic like I told you about if it is viral. I understand the itch thing completely. The fist time I got mine, I was up in Minnesota for a job I was working on and by the time I got back to the motel at the end of the day, underneath the long sleeve shirt I was wearing were some incredible hives.

I had talked to the friend who was living with me at the time and she said that she might had been a little fucked up and used straight fabric softener instead of detergent when she decided to wash my clothes. Something I never asked her to do and that started my whole trip down that road.

I had to go another few days in agony. Even my feet from my socks weren't spared. It took me a good year to get over all that nonsense and wash all that shit out of my clothes. It wasn't like I could just go out and buy a new wardrobe but I did buy new bedsheets which helped immensely.

The prescription cortisone works but you have to slather it on and it drys those patches of skin up something fierce. I had a jar for my body and something a little less intense for my face for that reason.

I wish you all the best my friend. I know what I went through and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. It's why I got a shingles vaccination as soon as I turned 50. I knew that I was definitely not ready to experience that ever again in any type of form.
