Yet another Tesla veers off course, this time into a pole, almost burning its operator alive after batteries suffer thermal runaway.

At 9:48 Sunday evening Engine 103 was dispatched to assist Timber Lakes Volunteer Fire Department Engine 141 and Montgomery County Hospital District after multiple 911 callers reported a vehicle vs pole collision with fire and person trapped at the intersection of Sawdust and Woodland Field Crossing. Engine 103 was first on scene and reported a vehicle in the intersection with heavy fire involvement and that bystanders had removed the driver from the vehicle.

Was the operator using AP/FSD? Who knows? Another almost dead because Teslas have a tendency to go out of control, suffer sudden uncontrolled acceleration, and veer off course.
