Day trading is never easy, you just never know when some news story will change everything.  Look at UNH, those horror stories just keep coming. Even worse, now trump has his own version of reality,  and disagrees with most of America and the world. I trade volatility,  it lasts for minutes, then markets figure things out. I am successful because each day I preserve my trading capital,  and my reserve accounts,  along with a comfortable lifestyle of home, family, grandchildren,  cars, vacations, and hobbies.  That all requires a tempered approach to each day. My son never understands that small scalps are better than that elusive home run trade.

When you are 74 you have learned who you are, my father helped me to understand that life is about surviving whatever life throws at you. You remain true to yourself, but you must deal with the world around you.  I daytrade because Trump changes by the moment.  I love trading various sectors of the market, these companies have been around for decades, but when trump attacks copper companies,  then FCX and SCCO get hurt, they adjust, I adjust, that's reality. When Israel attacks, then certain American defense companies get hurt, they adjust. The market adjusts all day long, I am a small time trader, my three trading accounts can barely give my 1/2 million in funds, not much in today's world,  but in my world, preserving capital is rule # 1.

Trading is quite easy to do nowadays, but since trump has come into office, I have learned that any exposure to financial markets has more risk. I also should point out that even my small trading has been curtailed since trump came into office.

But then I don't really need to trade anymore, just like trump. Trump enjoys curtailing the growth of America. His policies of destroying America might seem like a messing to you. But the world has already turned its back to trump and America by not giving into his foolish trade tariffs. The world does not need America to trde, they can easily trade with China. But you don't really care about all of America or even the world.

You live in MAGA world, enjoy it as more American manufacturing keeps shutting down each week. Just like the jobs report on Friday, three months of virtually NO jobs in America, and trump fires the person who reports it.

Now trump can report something, because you only believe in trump, so stay in trump world. Like the world, much of America will find another way of surviving, and all of it will be against people like you and trump. That is easy to do, you need trump to survive.
