I feel you. That's why I never follow the crowd. Anything I buy. I do so because of my own due diligence and opinion on a stock and the overall outlook. If I feel the stock is a company that will be around for the long run I by and alway should some but I always take my original investment and let the rest ride. But the key to ones success is due diligence. Never follow these ppl. They only buy low then pump so when you buy they can sell on your buy. I suggest getting a brokerage that shows daily price jumps see pictures. Get on premarket I'm in california so I'm up at 2am 3 am looking at the market. I'm also on after hours lol at these same price jumps and predicting which ones will likely go up or down. Look at the stocks history 1 wk 1 month 3 month 1 yr. Etc...Check to see when the price jumps whe. It decreased or increased when the news hit. When the financials come out. Who they are doing business with. Look at the hedge funds backing them. Make an informed decision based on if the company and the product is a needed commodity or something what will only be a fly by Night uptick and ppl can manipulate... avoid those u less you know how to by low and pick a 20% or 50% profit margin and sell. Etc... It's not that you are unlucky. You just haven't learned the techniques and how to trade on your own yet. We've all failed miserably but all made money. The market in very unforgiving. It doesn't care if you have bills or your mom is dying tonight. It's not your friend. It's job is to get you to give it money. So take your time. Never buy when you see a stop has already shot up out of your buying range. It always comes back down. Wait for it to dip. Buy the dip take your profits. But the key is to scan the market early and late look for indicators a stock is going to go up buy low and choose your profit margin and sell. Don't look back or u will always lose. You will succeed. Just be meticulous and methodical. Don't follow the crowd. Listen to your dd... P.s. I posted a couple pics to show u want I mean. I hope this helps you. Trust I've been there. It's frustrating and even after you become good it will still happen. No one has cure for the market. It's a game of chance and research... You got this Forgive any typos.
