It's hard to imagine what your point is. You slam Krugman for his free trade opinions and cite Friedman as your rebuttal to it?

So was M. Friedman

Don't look now, but Milton Friedman was Mr Free Markets. He also supported and to some extent inspired "Reaganomics", which was not a good thing.
