I will claim it, and just to be clear, Philadelphia is a great city. Those claiming otherwise either have never been there, haven't been there in ages, or are taking their talking points from Sean Duffy and Fox. Are there undesirable neighborhoods in Philly? Of course, just as there are in every city in the world.

Please be aware, and this is not a minor point, that this constant irrational, fact free, trashing of American cities is being done to set the stage for the military to be dispatched to those various American cities to "restore order".

For example, read Krugman's (a NYC resident) repeated rebuttals (in his Substack) of the administration's continuous mischaracterizations of crime in NYC. And those mischaracterizations have been subsequently repeated here (and elsewhere, I assume) by various know-nothing simps.
