I took a very close look at it. And it's not only possible, it's the only way to restore the full funding commitment or otherwise provide F2 with significant government backstop satisfying the rating agencies without needing Congress. Bessent wants to lower mortgage rates? Trump wants to squeeze as many dollars out of the deal as possible? Then that's how it has to be done!
