Europe suggested complete free trade no tariffs on both sides. Don’t know where you get your 39% from. I listed the previous tariffs ( 2024) at 3 to 5%. Read my message. Maybe you add value added tax which applies to all products in Europe also European products. It’s a sales tax which Trumps administration adds convienently as a ‘ tariff’. Anyway? It’s what it is.
