TJ i have always agreed with you Affluence Corp needs to have audited financials and SEC reporting
That is going to be one of the many contributing factors to get shareholder value up.
SEC reporting means 8-K’s will have to be filed.
That will mean a news release will have an 8-K release also.
I have always thought that there are investors who just buy on 8-K filings. I was right.
8-K filings will bring a lot more eyes to the stock.
The sooner AFFU start filing 8-K’s the better for the longs.
some investors and trading firms actively monitor SEC Form 8-K filings and make stock trades based on their content. Here’s how and why:
?
✅ Who Buys Stocks on 8-K Filings?
1. Quantitative and Algorithmic Traders
• They use automated systems to scan for keywords or specific events in 8-Ks (e.g., “acquisition,” “partnership,” “resignation,” “earnings,” “guidance”).
• These trades are often executed within seconds of the filing.
• Some hedge funds or quant firms even subscribe to direct EDGAR feeds or use natural language processing (NLP) to analyze filings instantly.
2. Event-Driven Investors
• These are institutional or sophisticated individual investors who look for market-moving events in 8-Ks like:
• M&A announcements
• Bankruptcy
• Material contracts
• Change in control
• Audited financial disclosures (esp. in acquisitions)
• They may act quickly if they believe the market has not yet priced in the impact of the filing.
3. Retail Traders
• Some active traders and retail investors use platforms like:
• Benzinga Pro
• BamSEC
• Seeking Alpha
• Twitter/X alerts
• While slower than algos, they may respond to breaking 8-K headlines, especially with big news like partnerships, delistings, or revenue surprises.

• Major customer wins or partnerships (Item 1.01)
• Better-than-expected earnings previews (Item 2.02)
• M&A deals that could increase valuation (Item 1.01 or 2.01)
Examples of bearish 8-K triggers:
• Auditor resignations (Item 4.01)
• C-level departures (Item 5.02)
• Notices of default (Item 2.04)
