Of course, we all do our best to select 'good stock opportunities' to buy, but sometimes you also have to be a bit lucky. A lot also depends on sentiment and what a company has in the pipeline, what kind of turnover there is etc., what kind of market cap is possible? And whether a company does not suddenly come up with very good or bad news. That's always something you don't always have control over.
But, anyway, if I look 'closely' at graphs, I try to look for options with a low entry or dips (sometimes goes well... sometimes not).
