If the company is buying back shares I like it that they did not put it out in a fluff PR and doing it quietly...to me that shows sincerity.

So the company may have felt the shares were and are to cheap and may have repurchased 335 million shares (from the market or insiders) and retired them (formally canceled)

If this is true maybe we could expect more buy backs if the company truly feels the stock is too cheap.
