edge mini servers creating the micro services allowing a user to create /have created for them component microservices needed to provide the application they need to meet their work/goal/desire/wishes. multiple apps are required to provide the flexibility/scalability to produce the outcome desired. the prompts needs communicated to the servers by programmable apis, particularly if the servers are more like fpga than asics? avgo is said to be under valued because of their valuable asics products.... this could be the reason standalone rdp is gone, it didn't support microservices...further, in this evolving world of quantum computer, supercomputing, and unification of classical/quantum worlds we need adaptability and on going machne learning and differential inferences with the added knowledge including how things turn out. guesses.
