In WV we take care of our own.....In 2016 when we lost 22 people here in my area from a flash flood...... locals were already all hands on deck clearing debris, roads, helping folk by days end....The Greenbrier opened it doors to any and all who needed it....Construction companies brought in equipment and stayed for 2 weeks until all that could be done was....Road crews were fixing roads the next day......Food for all from local stores,,,more volunteers than you could shake a stick at,,,,,,,.....No one was waiting for help, they provided it...
Then the gov showed up, good people with good intentions but hampered by bureaucracy.....
Many could not afford to rebuild even with gov help, look up Hope Village
Folks up north in WV got hit with 4" of rain in 30 mins, looks like 7 dead including a 3yr old.......Im sure they will treat each other as we did here,,,,far from the mocking I read here yesterday of their plight....
If folks here have any rule its the golden one..Dems like yourself should try it.....
