I agree with what that guy was trying to say.
My beef is if true salvation isn't given, the whole story, I think back sliding is going to happen no matter what.
As knowing what it is to be a new creation in Christ is not explained.
The repentance of sins.
Turning away from the old self putting on the new.
This is how I see it....
People are so happy to see one want to have a relationship with Christ that when they witness to them they don't give them both sides of the situation. They leave out the reality that this is going to be one tough long road to go on.
It's like they fear telling the truth.
Nothing wrong with telling the truth as the truth is Jesus will be there with you as satan comes after you as you turn from the worlds ways.
If true repentance doesn't begin, how can the new creation in Christ begin?
When witnessing, if both sides of the story isn't given it is no wonder so many back slide.
