Florida Democratic chair Nikki Fried throws support behind ‘No Kings’ protests against Trump


These protests coincide with both Trump’s birthday and the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, an occasion the administration reportedly plans to mark with a tank parade in Washington, D.C.

In response, Republican Party of Florida Chairman Evan Power sharply criticized Fried for promoting what he called “radical ‘No Kings’ protests,” accusing her of focusing on these demonstrations instead of addressing her party’s “ongoing implosion.”
