I was born in the Margaret Hague hospital in Jersey City, named after the mother of Democrat Frank "Boss" Hague, the dictator of Hudson County, NJ.
In those days, you had to pay the Democratic Party of Hudson County money upfront for any government jobs in the county. My mother, who graduated from Jersey City State Teachers' College (as it was called then) couldn't get teaching work because her family couldn't afford to pay upfront. It cost a certain amount to get a job as a cop, fireman, school superintendent, etc.
It would actually be less believable if he claimed there weren't any money for votes quid pro quos, back whenever.
It is entertaining, though, to see you going off on people with your name calling, while you think you know so much and the opposite is true.
