Interesting how the mainstream media has recently switched to using the 'national debt held by the public' figure of 29 trillion, instead of the full 37 trillion figure as before. Using 37 tril, the Debt / GDP is a much more alarming 130% (approx), rather than the 100% they are publicizing -
