Like Trump, you fail to understand Putin's New Russia. Much as he'd like things to be different, it is not the old Soviet Union. The economy is in tatters, and if there's ONE thing the Ukraine wars has illustrated, it's that militarily, Russia is a third-rate power. It might well be out of Ukraine by now were Iran unwilling to sell it so many drones.
