DCBill: I own 100% of the FnF shares I purchased. The govt. didn’t subsidized 79.99% of my purchases and isn’t entitled to it no matter what Ackman or Howard say. However, government owns 100% of Ginnie Mae. If my recollection is correct, Ginnie Mae has $2.3 trillion in assets. Pulte says that FnF’s $7.7 trillion make their stock worth trillions and he would invest in them if he weren’t in the government. If they are worth just one trillion, then Ginnie Mae when taken public should be worth $300 billion. There’s no need for the Trump administration to steal from FnF shareholders. If he does, he’ll be a bigger thief than President Obama.
