You got it! Like Trump, Peterson has no shame. I see this Jordan gibberish as a
defense of Trump and his unpresidential activity while in the presidential chair.

This, here -- https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1080658760368602

At least that's what struck me in struggling through to 2:19. Was enough.

One of today's YouTube popularity people, to my mind he ranks among
the most relatively ethics-free right-wing American libertarians about.

He's the ugliest weasel .. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=weasel+ .. i've seen.

The others are all cute. Yet still Peterson has attracted many many young men ..

It’s a product of being so famous. He sees the absolute worst of people, and the
most extreme of the left. That will make anyone more extreme.
Polarization polarizes.

I worked with someone who did their PhD with Jordan as their supervisor (or mentor of some kind... Not sure, but they would regularly be at his house, and work with him) at U of T. Ironically, my former colleague has some kind of job doing DEI research stuff at another university.

They said Jordan was extremely nice, helpful, and a total rockstar in their field (psychometrics).

He said he was pretty surprised to see his behaviour/demeanour over the years and suggested that he really didn't used to be "like this."

My theory is that fame/money affects people. You get surrounded by "yes people" and you're conditioned to behave/think in different ways when you have million-dollar book deals, speaking tours, etc.

You, conversely, have an army of people who despise you that's just as loud as the people who love you...

There's no way that wouldn't change someone.

Of course in changed circumstances, some are changed for the better. Some for the worse.
