They were over due I felt to many good things happened the last couple weeks. I think the market wanted Nvidia to succeed since it has become such a driver. I just finished earnings call it was good, a lot of of  previous issues are put to rest. Good for everyone especially us longs

Definitely a bit of a surprise. No doubt a beat, but with tighter margins and this time it went up after earnings, although it was a modest increase of 5 %.

In the past, earnings would usually see wild swings of 15%-20%, in either direction. The last few earnings reports saw the price drop, despite beating earnings.

...and the market continues to surprise.
