That's very true. Congeress is what screwed this up pre-2006. Mandating mortgages to anyone with a pulse that can cough up $20 was the stupidest, idiotic idea. Luckily for us, Democrats lost and are losing more and more credibility daily. SO no more games with giving those who can't afford or will not pay their debts.
