Unfortunately, this is ALL healthcare. I remember by Father getting cancer in early 2020. He was supposed to get treatments then Covid hit. He never got any treatments, and we had to watch him slowly die the most painful death I have ever seen for the next 6 months. I would never let an animal of mine die that horrible death. They worked all their lives for extra healthcare when they got older through Calpers also. I am not sure what else, but they paid alot for it. All we got was a nurse for 20 minutes maybe twice a week. I cannot even describe the insane skeleton and pain he died in. I finally was so pissed I dialed 911 even though the healthcare they had paid their entire lives for including their Kaiser they had most of their lives told my mom she would have to call 20 homes, and none had to have occupancy before we could even take him to a hospital. This was some BS we dealt with for weeks and they knew nothing about Covid so even though he suffered he stayed home when we should have just taken him to the hospital months earlier IMO. We went along with the ambulance and of course the hospital would not let us in. He died 2 days later alone. Never getting to say goodbye to anyone. It was July of 2020. Trust me if he had not come from northern Minnesota where he grew up on the farm through the great depression and the coldest weather in the USA he would never have lived that long. He was tough. He and his brother fought in WW11. Iwo Jima, Korea etc. He was a great man and should never have had to suffer so especially when you consider what they must have paid in total for the end of years extra home healthcare and assisted home living. He got nothing but crap. I am sure he got worse than most here will because it was the first few months of Covid also and we all know what they did to all of us. God bless his soul.

WOW 🚨 UnitedHealthcare caught secretly paying nursing homes to NOT send elderly people in need of care to the hospital
