To the best of my memory, it was right from Kim's mouth. It was in one of those question and answer sessions or a holiday letter.
It was his way of expressing his desire or commitment, to shareholders, to build out the company. As, at the time, investors were questioning progress, as things seemed to have stalled in the production dept.
I dont remember exact words but it was something to the effect he was looking at selling right after the breakthru but didn't get any offers. Or offers to his satisfaction.
He was reassuring investors he was committed to building the company out.
