According to Arachnodude's favorite AI ChatGPT, a metric ton of silkworm cocoons would fill somewhere between 53 to 66 50-gallon trash bags.  This is for loose, uncompressed silkworm cocoons.  They can be compressed, but the photo is obviously showing uncompressed cocoons.  Those 53 to 66 bags of cocoons produce only about 100 kilos of reeled silk.
But everything will turn up rainbows and puppies soon.  Very soon.  Real very soon.  Tick Tock.  Major buyout on the way. $10,000 per share, minimum.

You can't possibly know that but yet you throw out estimates. What depth or width, length or height is that pile? You assume way too much as usual.
