I am pretty sure the evidence against Hindenburg colluding with hedgefund managers just came out a handful of months ago.
Not the first time Hindenburg, shorting and colluding has been mentioned but, for some reason, I thought about George Soros and his (and others) shorting the British Pound and also his speaking out about it. Ultimately they appear to have been correct. Now wondering, how is that much different than what Hindenburg Research did and wrote? Was the information in the report by Hindenburg Research correct (factual) or incorrect (BS)?
Hindenburg Research was an investment research firm known for its investigative reports and short-selling strategies, founded by Nathan Anderson. The firm's name is a reference to the Hindenburg airship, which famously caught fire in 1937. Hindenburg Research gained notoriety for targeting companies like Adani Group, Nikola, Icahn Enterprises, and others, alleging various forms of fraud or mismanagement.
