Maybe... but again falls on Jacob. Not Vinco Ventures. Abd any investigation would take some time. Otherwise every company involved however big or small would have been raided when Jake was pinched. Jacob certainly has got a problem on his hands but unless he's funneling drug money which is not likely given the amounts he was busted with. Sure it can be considered "drug trafficking" but that is most likely due to the fact each drug he was caught with was bagged separately. Abd how you pointed out he used the US postal service. But the weight he was caught with shows amateur status. REAL drug trafficking is measured in pounds not grams. A good friend of mine involved in the narcotics business (and been to prison twice) would lol at Jake.
You can be considered a drug trafficker if you have an ounce of cocaine bagged up separately into 8 balls with intent to distribute. My guess is Jake was either moonlighting as a small time drug dealer or he parties pretty hard with friends in his free time (most likely the case). He wasn't moving weight. But being caught with a variety of illegal narcotics all separated and bagged up makes for an easy case for "distribution". Judging by the weight of each narcotic he was caught with more or less points to taking orders from various friends in his circle. Not mass distribution as some would like to paint it.
But i digress... maybe an investigation will be launched into his drug use/dealing and business dealings. If so that will take the feds years to build a case unless Mr. Fernane sings like a canary. Which he's not likely to do. But let's say he does sing... its his companies like Pacific Lion that will go down. Not Vinco Ventures or others he loaned money to or made deals with. Unless of course you believe every closed door meeting Jacob came out and told every CEO or board of directors he was financing his operations with a few grams of Heroin and Meth. Still it appears that would be a Jacob Fernane problem. Not anyone else.
