Labeling a company a “scam” without understanding the broader context is not only shortsighted, it’s irresponsible. Building a legitimate tech startup, especially in the OTC markets, is one of the most difficult paths a company can take. Unlike venture-backed Silicon Valley startups flush with capital, OTC startups are often forced to innovate, fundraise, and grow in the harshest conditions, scrutinized daily, underfunded, and constantly navigating market skepticism.

Now add the headwinds of an economic downturn, high interest rates, tightened capital markets, declining consumer confidence and you get a near-impossible environment for emerging companies to survive, let alone thrive. Yet, some keep pushing forward, fueled not by fraud, but by belief in their mission, dedication to their product, and the willingness to fight through challenges that most wouldn’t last a week in.

Real innovation doesn’t always look clean in its early stages. It stumbles, pivots, and rebuilds. Dismissing that as a “scam” says more about the impatience of the critic than the intent of the builder.

If you’ve truly “seen enough,” then you’ve likely seen just how brutal the road is. That doesn’t make it fraudulent, it makes it real.
