I've seen many episodes of the CNBC show "American Greed" and in almost all of them it's blatantly obvious to an outside observer that investors put their trust into a con-man. In retrospect, after the scam is revealed and the money is gone, victims admit that all the signs were there and yet either because of their own greed or because of hubris, they didn't want to believe that they were wrong to put their trust into the con-man.
The same is happening with SPOOZ. Park releases multiple PRs about billion dollar deals followed by silence on those deals. Big new CEO coming in to rocket the company to the moon followed by silence and a total scrubbing of the guy from the record.
And when inconsistencies are pointed out in the so-called "financials" the peanut gallery's response is that Park is so damn busy cutting new billion dollar deals that no one should pay attention to the old ones.
Eventually the truth will come out.
