ESCROW ....I gave up on that years ago when they pulled them from our accounts ,IMO, there was no way we were getting anything back after that.
That’s where we differ. I had most of my retirement money invested in WMI way before 2008, thinking that WAMU, a bank, being owned by WMI, the holdI had most of my retirement money invested in WMI way before 2008, thinking that WAMU, a bank, being owned by WMI, the holding company of WAMU, was a safe investment. But we know how the story played out. And, unlike yourself, I have not made “more than I invested.” I know that posters are happy about how much money they have made invested in COOP and, believe me, I’m not jealous. However, for me, even though I have an investment in COOP, it’s all about the FDIC’s closing of this bankruptcy and whatever distributions there may be if any. So what bothers me is not today’s news but the fact that this saga keeps dragging on.
