You know, I've tried to stay far away from this discussion but I have to chime in again. You attacking members of this board upsets me.

You say you've read all our posts and all our recipes but do you ever read your own posts back to yourself? It seems you're the one harping on about a certain topic and you dare to call this place Toxic?

If you haven't looked lately, nobody here is trying to win the " internet influencer of the year" award. We shoot the breeze, exchange ideas and if the language that is used is harmful to you, then that's your problem.

You picked the argument and could easily abandon this thread but you still don't.

brooklyn13, Ho hum, i didn't conclude that about you, mine was meant to be mild sarcasm based on your past incessant complaining about why we spent so much time being critical of Israel's war against Palestinians without giving the attention you felt we should give to other wars as in the DRC and Sudan. And it was also based on your past incessant complaining about why we picked on Israel so much without giving the attention you felt we should give to the genocidal acts against American Indians, Australian Aborigines and Tibetan Uyghurs.

You have caught flack basically i'm guessing because of you defense of Israel's war. Not least because of the unreasonableness of your reasons for that defense. And because you have given it.

And just because you can't think of an instance doesn't mean the instance hasn't happened. When i disagree i pretty much deal with the content of the disagreement.

Oh and preaching to the choir? Sorry you missed our spirited disagreement on Schumer's continuing resolution switch.

Bottom line: You make many assertion about me and this board when you really don't know what you are talking about.

In fact, guess what, in reading through every one of your initial posts on TA, up to your reply to this one:

We insisted that Hamas join the political process. When they won, Israel continued to hunt them and kill them while they observed a cease fire.

No one is calling Hamas the good guys, but half the Israeli government would be in the Hague right now if it weren't for their might.

As far as Arab citizens? They have some rights, as long as they don't want to live in the Jews only areas. And millions of them live under occupation and have no rights at all.

Pick up a book dude. Learn the uncomfortable. People all over America are screaming that they don't want their kids to be taught the truth.... Hmmm.

i rediscovered that you interacted with almost every regular poster on the board, and you handled rooster and other interlopers as well as any of us have done for years.

And guess what. You fit. In fact you fit so well with positions both well considered rational and reasonable you were actually almost one of us --- until you chose to deal with the views a couple of us put to you about Israel in the manner you did. And after a time of that some on the board turned vehemently against you.

It was only after the Israel thing started that you started saying things about this board that
were not true. Oh and a reminder, comment on moderation is out of bounds, remember.

In summary: over 200 of your posts i went through (even crashed iHub tab twice with the speed of it, i think) and you did fit very well here, with nary a negative about the board or on the moderation of it.

How about that, eh. Good news.

PS: Why did i bother? Because when i read that of mine i decided to check if i had it right. It was
good to see i was in fact wrong on that singular point about you rubbishing here from the start.
