Well, as I've always said here and anywhere else, congress people are totally isolated and protected up there, they will never ever feel what's happening outside of their government cocoon. They won't. It's like they are in a high rise and some poor kid in the congo gets eaten by a croc. It's the other side of the world from them and a total stranger. They don't feel the actual stress and fear.
We citizens are the other side of the world from them and are unknown, uncared for strangers. Why should we expect some overpaid bloated suit to actually risk some of their money or property, or job doing whats right.
