Perhaps the cost of an IONQ quantum computer might help some people understand why the price isn’t continuing to go over the moon. It definitely isn’t something that most individuals will ever be able to afford, and it’s not something at most companies would consider buying unless it were much more capable of processing many more business functions profitably. Personally, I think it’ll be more than a decade or two before quantum computing will be attractive for the general business community if you look at capability and price.

IonQ has not publicly disclosed the exact cost of deploying its quantum computers in data centers. However, the company has introduced two rack-mounted quantum computing systems, the IonQ Forte Enterprise and IonQ Tempo, designed for seamless integration into existing data centers. These systems are meant to be enterprise-grade solutions that help businesses and governments incorporate quantum capabilities without requiring specialized infrastructure modifications.

IonQ has been selling these systems to clients, including a deal with Switzerland’s QuantumBasel, and has received a $25.5 million contract from the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory for quantum computing initiatives ? ?. While the cost per system is unclear, these contracts suggest that deployments involve multimillion-dollar investments.

The financials will improve once they start selling more machines like Tempo coming next and Peter stated that Quantum basil has already ordered 1 The military who also bought a Forte will be next up for a Tempo imo Then the next after Tempo (64) is going to be 260 qubits (yet to be named but what I am calling Presto in 2026. Another musical term meaning “fast” ! Harmony, Aria, Forte,Forte Enterprise, Tempo. Then hopefully Presto🤞The money will come rolling in when Presto is out there, the networks are set up using Qubitekk and NKT etc and the security thru Q K D and IDQ acquisition the apps from Astra Zeneca and Ansys quantum basil the military and General Dynamics , South Korea and Japan etc etc. This all takes time and manpower and money. But they got this . Peter now has help so he can pursue the AI side more vigorously. So much money out there at so many angles and we have them all covered now. IDQ acquisition will add over 300 more patents to our moat. Now we’ll have over 900 patents. Covering quantum computing , networking, sensors, apps, O S , ML, QPU’s , hybrid suite, LLM’s , simulations, and miniaturization in a vacuum in our own factory all set up. Whew! You can see why Peter needed help. No one. NO ONE else is attacking all of this at once . But IonQ is and we’re way out front. And I think we’re going to stay out front and be the next Apple and Msft combined. Quantum is now. Life in the Quantum lane. Everything. All the time. Life in the Quantum lane. Ah haa.

Jet. As a side, if I haven’t already told you. Read. Quantum Supremacy by Michio Kaku. Dic turned me on to it almost 2 years ago right after it came out. That got me interested. Then I did more DD from there. Basically read everything I could find. Knowledge is power. Everyone should read as much as possible in quantum before investing. Good luck🏄🏻‍♀️🌈😎🤙🍔 the burger is for my buddy in Jersy boiler room lol
