I thought the two scenario positions offered was likely a fair look at the situation. Though it is easier for us onlookers than it is for those in the room to say what we feel, what we think i'm not arguing with any of yours there. With the qualification that those that know likely understand we are all better off if Trump does not totally abandon all the friends his country has made over years. Trump has inherited the leverage he has because of the way the US has been involved in the world. He doesn't deserve any credit for his inheritance, it's just odd that he isn't smart enough to understand he is tossing away much of what enabled America to be as powerful as it is.
