What? You can see them in the Archive. Or, as noted, you can create individual files with subjects names. That'll make it easier to find old ones.

But as long as you remember an approximate date, or a keyword that'll help you find it easily, you can just search the archive by year.

One thing we've all objected to FOREVER is that it's not possible to search for PMs by name of sender. They just don't seem to want to do that, and I've never understood why.
