Brought a small position in ARDT At $14.39 today here is what I like.
ARDT is a smaller hospital play that focuses on owning hospitals and clinics in mid-sized urban areas. ARDT was an IPO in 2024, so they haven’t been public for that long. ARDT is growing earnings and has guidance of $1.18-1.32 in 2024. But analyst estimates are expected to have a significant jump in earnings next year (In the low 1.90’s), which will make the stock super cheap for its sector. Even if you’re like me and believe those numbers too optimistic, They don’t need to be anywhere near there to make it work. The sector typically trades at 13-15 times Hence even on My pessimistic view I see Low 20’s and my optimistic I see high 20’s as fair value. Either way I'm good owning it in the low to mid 14’s and the low end of the range. Time will tell if this one works. Not my largest position, but I do like it and decided to take a chance today at $14.39 today. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.
