What?? In my adult life, I've never cooked on anything else, and would rather not do so. Though I think it'd be interesting to try one of the new induction stovetops. Evidently they're not at all like shitty old electric burners.
I'm with you on all of that! We have a fireplace with a heatilator. That heatilator keeps the whole house warm even when it is below 20 degrees. It has been freezing the last few days here in the midwest but we don't notice. When our electricity goes out and it is freezing we keep the fireplace going and it's no big deal. No tv but it's warm!
